Holiday Season Recap

A BIG thank you to everyone who sent us holiday cards last year. With your help, we were able to send packages of cards to over 140 facilities from coast to coast! Here is what one of the facilities had to say:

"We received a wonderful package of Christmas Cards for our residents today and I just wanted to thank you for the joy and happiness that you brought to our seniors."

Our Treasurer Solange was also able to make two in person card deliveries in Ottawa! Seeing the smiling faces of the residents remind us why we started Sending Sunshine.

Volunteer With Us!

We are looking for committed and hardworking volunteers to join our team in the following leadership roles:

Fundraising Manager

Social Media Volunteer Manager

The Fundraising Manager is in charge of all fundraising activities for Sending Sunshine. The goal is to obtain funds to help cover operating costs and expand our reach. The successful candidate will have experience in grant writing, sponsorship, fundraising, and securing philanthropic commitments from individuals, government agencies, foundations, and corporate donors.  

The Social Media Volunteer Manager will act as the direct supervisor for Sending Sunshine’s social media volunteers. This includes our Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok Volunteers. You will be in charge of recruiting, vetting, supervising, and training these volunteers.
